Police: is it getting to their heads?

Ok, so i'm watching local news and i see this. Now reading the story you see that this man trying to get his wife to the ER is more qualified for the job he was undertaking than that police officer will have in his life. Yet just because of his badge he can treat people however and he gets a paid vacation for it?!? Meanwhile a man who was actually saving his wifes life is now suspended from his job for the simple fact that he was accused of a felony by this "officer". So now his wife is out of work as is he, because this officer had his ego hurt when he was told to leave the emergency room because he was impeding the efforts of a DOCTOR to save the life of a PERSON, simply to make a point that MR. WRIGHT was going to go to JAIL for his actions no matter what his reason was for speeding and running red lights!! Way to serve and protect OFFICER JAMES DAVES!! KUDOS

How is it?

So this is my first blog. It will probably suck, but here we go!

I just don't understand how we've gotten to this point in America! I would venture to say that 99-100% of our legislatures are in the pocket of some big corporation? We as Americans have gotten lethargic. Our mainstream media doesn't report facts anymore just what is fed to them by these giant corporations PR firms. Geez, we have oil covering the gulf and we can't stop it because we are letting BP control the "clean up". These people don't want to stop this leak, because it may make the gulf area unusable for the near future. So instead of stop it they want to let it leak into the ocean and collect it so they can still use it somewhere down the road and make more record breaking profits. This gusher is coming out of more than just the pipe they are focusing on, it's broken through the sea floor and erupting directly from the earth! We have Republicans apologizing to BP for having to clean up the mess that they directly caused?!?! WHAT world do these people live in that it's ok to totally ruin thousands of people's lively hood and nobody is at fault? I guess they don't want to ruffle the pockets that they reside in!
